Social & Emotional Intelligence

Why teach Social and Emotional Intelligence? Learning to recognise how another is feeling, showing kindness, and taking the time to really listen, develops our ability to connect to one another in compassionate and meaningful ways. Teaching children strategies on how to cope with challenging situations will help their self-confidence as they grow into adulthood. A child who is encouraged to be socially and emotionally intelligent from an early age will grow to be a confident, thoughtful and caring person.
